Patti Casey and Colin McCaffrey are two native Vermonters who have sung and played together for decades. Both are award winning songwriters with multiple solo recordings.

Through five majestic, award-winning albums, Patti has pioneered the creation of a unique New England genre of folk-storytelling-bluegrass whose signature sound has since been imitated yet remains unmatched. She has performed at such elite levels of artistry for so many decades –songwriting, musicianship, performance, and social advocacy – that words like “acclaimed,” “magical,” and “transformative” only begin to capture the scope and reach of her talents. She has been showcased on NPRs Prairie Home Companion and has performed on many national stages. Seven Days wrote: "Patti Casey offers some of the finest vocals and creative songwriting you're liable to hear anywhere...a voice like expensive chocolate.”

Colin is the consummate multi-instrumentalist. If an instrument has strings, Colin can play it. His music draws on influences from jazz, country, bluegrass, blues and folk. As a highly sought-after sound engineer and producer, Colin has produced hundreds of records for Vermont artists.

Tonight, the duo will be joined by Geordie Lynd, a singer, guitarist and fiddler originally hailing from Meriden NH. Geordie plays Irish music on the fiddle in a style influenced by recordings of the Clare masters and by the uileann piping tradition, as well as classic American country and traditional folk. He and his family have a small dairy farm in South Walden, Vermont.
