Bob & Sarah Amos
This popular father-daughter musical duo, backed by a top-notch acoustic band, presents a wide variety of Americana and Bluegrass original and traditional songs in a captivating style, with mesmerizing vocal harmonies and exciting instrumentation. Bob Amos is a nationally recognized award-winning songwriter and musician who has written and recorded over 100 songs on 12 albums over the past 30 years. Sarah Amos is a remarkable vocalist who has been singing professionally with her father for over ten years.
The September 11 Meeting House show will mark the debut of their brand new backing band, featuring some of New England’s top acoustic musicians, including Andy Greene on guitar, Kirk Lord on bass, and Alan Epstein on mandolin. Greene and Lord have been members of several high profile New England Acts including The Revenants and The Bluegrass Gospel Project. The band will also feature Bob on banjo and guitar, and Bob and Sarah on vocals.
Bob and Sarah are currently working on a new album and will be presenting some of their new material on September 11th, as well as many of their longterm fan favorites.
