You loved them two years ago, so we’re bringing them back! With a rock solid traditional bluegrass rhythmic foundation, stellar harmony vocals, top notch original material, plus creative arrangements of bluegrass classics and an engaging and entertaining stage show, Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing presents a high caliber, highly enjoyable bluegrass concert experience.
Over the past several years Bob and the band have released three bluegrass CDs, which have all received terrific reviews. Borrowed Time received a highlight review in Bluegrass Unlimited magazine, while Sunrise Blues and Body and Soul both received Vermont's "Best CD of the Year" awards in the bluegrass/country category ("Tammie Awards", VT Times Argus).
Bob is a longtime veteran of the national Bluegrass scene having led the acclaimed band, Sugar Hill recording artists Front Range for fifteen years (1988-2003), and is widely regarded as one of the top songwriters in the bluegrass landscape.
Catamount Crossing features Bob Amos on banjo, guitar and vocals, daughter Sarah Amos on lead and harmony vocals, fiddler Freeman Corey, Steve Wright on guitar, Gary Darling on mandolin, and bassist Chris Cruger.
